By
next week we are sure this page will be full of baby
pictures from our the first of our 6 mares to foal,
so today we would like you to meet some of the other
young horses at Tranquility Farm who are getting
ready to be adopted later this summer.
Here are the three muskateers, Tiza Teddy, Night
Moves and Lacey's Legacy. They are yearling colts
that will be ready to begin gentle training this
fall. All are halter broke, very good to handle and
extremely smart and personable. We are very proud of
this group of colts, each is special.
|
| This
sweet face is "Goldie", a very well- bred 2 year old
gelding who was injured in a pasture accident as a
yearling and will sadly never achieve his full
athletic potential. Goldie is one of the sweetest
and naturally affectionate horses we have had in
ages, and when he has grown up a little more he will
make someone a super pet and light trail riding
horse. Watch for updates on his rehabilitation.

This
wary face wearing very inelegant tack belongs to Ms
Goodwitch, a 3 year old filly who was also injured
in a pasture accident as a yearling and subsequently
turned out where she became uncatchable. This wild
child was donated for TLC and a bit of charm school,
and when she has graduated she has the look of an an
excellent sporthorse type broodmare. At almost any
public auction you will find young horses that have
slipped through the cracks as Ms. Goodwitch almost
did. If you take them home and give them a chance
you will be amazed at how much can be accomplished
in a short time with quiet and gentle handling.
