HERITAGE HALL,
8 year old Irish- bred stakes winner needs a home with
pasture and a gentle trail-riding lifestyle. He is a
very personable horse who loves attention and taking
trail rides with a light, experienced rider. Due to his
hard years of racing his back cannot take serious
dressage work or jumping. This wonderful horse was
rescued from slaughter buyers two years ago by Anita
Offerman, which made national news because of his
successful racing career. Read her story below, and if

adopting Heritage Hall you may contact Anita

"Two years ago
Heritage Hall ended up in the Bakersfield livestock
auction in CA. He was completely run down, skinny and
sick. You couldnąt tell he had a racing career other
than his racing shoes. When we purchased him for $450
dollars, and then started looking at his paperwork it
became clear that this stakes winner had a brilliant
start in life. We wondered how did he ended up in a
slaughter sale at the age of 6?
By Fairy King out of Lucky Song, HERITAGE HALL was
foaled in Ireland and is a former $300,000 sales
yearling. He was later sold for racing US, made 25
starts and has earnings of over $100,000. In his early
racing career he injured his back, and still performed
for many more races." |
